Jarrison Systems provides comprehensive workforce management solutions. As the Lead UI Designer, I owned the visual language across the entire product ecosystem, bridging the gap between complex functionality and user-friendly interface design.
Key Initiatives
- Mobile App: Unified Architecture (JT Clock)
- The Challenge: The core challenge was architectural – we needed to merge two distinct user modules (Single User Clocking and Management Team Clocking) into a single, cohesive application for both iOS and Android.
- The Solution: I designed a fluid UI that contextually adapts based on user permissions, simplifying the experience without losing the robust functionality required by management teams.
- Web Application: The React Migration
- Scale: This is a massive digital transformation project involving the conversion of the legacy Desktop Application into a modern, React-based Web App.
- Execution: I designed and documented over 300 unique screens, enabling users to conduct complex HR and Access Control tasks directly from the browser. This required translating heavy data tables and configuration menus into intuitive web patterns.
- Windows & Desktop Tools
- Designed the UI for suite additions like JT Manager and JT Monitor, ensuring visual consistency even across different tech stacks.
Holistic Brand Stewardship
Beyond the product interface, I spearheaded the company’s visual communication strategy to ensure the “outside” matched the “inside.”
- Brand Refresh: Executed a complete brand refresh affecting all marketing collateral, brochures, and social media.
- Governance: Created a comprehensive Brand Guideline Book to maintain consistency as the company scales.
